Not much garners more admiration and respect in the fashion world than designer handbags. What were once thought of as solely functional, have now been elevated to sophisticated and stylish fashion; those pieces that women with means will track down at all costs in order to have the latest and greatest in handbags in their collection. The Gucci line, especially, has long been respected for their Gucci handbag – among other luxury items – and continues to hold court in the fashion world as one of the most reputable companies of all times.

The Gucci handbag had its beginnings in Florence Italy in 1921, when Guccio Gucci opened his first store that specialized in leather products including handbags and saddles. By the late 1930s Gucci had opened a store in Rome and had become known for high quality and luxury items. The family business continued to blossom even after Guccio Gucci’s death in 1953; his sons continued the work their father had begun and before long there were Gucci stores in every major city including New York, London, Paris, and Hong Kong.

However, success was not enough to prevent the Gucci boys from fighting each other on design and business decisions and in the late 1970s the company hit hard times, almost resulting in the bankruptcy and the closing of doors. The company would not regain firm financial footing into well into the 1990s when it was bought out by a holding company.

With the purchase of the Gucci brand came a new designer, and the brand was well into a full-blown revitalization by the mid-nineties. The Gucci handbag had a comeback as well, becoming a favorite among celebrities.

The Gucci handbag is synonymous with luxury and continues to be on the wish list of many women far and wide. With a reputation for quality, style, creativity, and sophistication, Gucci will undoubtedly continue to be a name significant in the fashion world for many generations to come.

Of all the things to worry about, why should you worry about the glasses and the dinnerware? Well, maybe it’s not that you should worry so much as you should make sure that you have everything that anyone could need.

Depends on the menu

If you’re having something that requires special utensils, you’ll have to factor that into your dinnerware plans. This sounds silly, but you truly have to understand that every detail will help your guests and you feel comfortable. You’ll be eating too, so that butter knife won’t go through your steak any easier than it will through your guest’s.

Most catering services will incorporate the correct utensils, but you may want to double check to be sure. This is especially true when you’re having a dish that is a little tricky to eat—meats, shelled seafood, etc. You want to make sure that your guests are completely comfortable and able to eat what they are served.

The same goes for drinks. You will want to have a water glass or goblet plus a champagne glass next to each place setting. If you are having a bar, then the additional glasses will be given by them. If there is wine and beer, then they can be served in the appropriate glassware.

If you’re doing it on your own

There’s nothing more frustrating than realizing that you haven’t planned for enough people. And when it comes to dinner ware and glassware, you need to rent more than you think that you do. You’ve certainly been at a party and set your glass down, lost it, and then grabbed a new one to replace it. This is the same situation, only there are a lot more people.

When you’re planning your own wedding and renting the dishes and flat ware, you want to plan for at least fifty more people than are coming. This gives you enough leeway should glasses get misplaced or lost.

Flat ware should also be ordered in bulk as it can easily drop on to the floor or be miscounted. When the supplies arrive, you want to count and recount everything to make sure that you have enough.

Not every wedding is an ornate, formal affair. Many brides and grooms choose to keep their wedding more informal and casual. This may allow them to plan a more stress free event that everyone will enjoy. It is important that all the guests know in advance that the wedding is going to be a casual affair. This is easily done through the wedding invitation wording.

The wedding invitation wording should clearly indicate that the wedding is going to be casual. This starts off with the invitation itself. The invitation can be simple or silly, as long as it conveys to the guests that the wedding will also be simple or silly. If there is a theme to the wedding then this can be included in the invitation as well. The wedding invitation wording should coincide with the invitation so that all guests understand that the wedding will be casual.

Choosing the wedding invitation wording should be fun for the bride and groom. Every wedding invitation retailer will have examples of wedding invitation wording that the bride and groom can choose from. If they choose, they can also mix and match some of these examples or even write their own. This allows the bride and groom to incorporate some of their own style into the wedding invitations. The wording should be informal and printed in an informal script. When all else fails, the bride and groom can even include “casual dress” on the invitations.

Every invitation needs to include all of the necessary information for the guests and should be incorporated into the wedding invitation wording. This includes all of the details such as the date, time, and location of the ceremony. If the reception information is different than the ceremony information, then the bride and groom should consider including this information as well. In addition, the bride and groom should include the names of those who are hosting the wedding if they are not doing it themselves. They should also include their full names on the invitation. This is important for those distant relatives and family friends who will want to know the names of both bride and groom. This is especially important when the guest wants to give a card or gift. It would be embarrassing to address the card wrong. This can be avoided by including the full names of the bride and groom as part of the wedding invitation wording.

The wedding invitation wording is one of the most fun aspects of wedding planning. The bride and groom have the ability to express their own style through these words while also giving guests all of the information they need in order to attend the wedding. When an event is going to be casual, the bride and groom can be even more creative with their wedding invitation wording. There are no limitations as to what they can include!

Choosing the right perfume can never be an easy task.  There are a lot of factors to consider.  But it can be rewarding and a lot of fun, too.  Your fragrance reveals a lot about your personality, or what you want it to be.  Remember also that certain ingredients in perfumes affect or arouse different kinds of emotions and feelings in people.  For instance, spicy scents like musk are believed to be aphrodisiacs, while fruity scents are calming, fresh, yet sensual.  You must be able to choose the right kind of perfume that will fit your style and your purposes, as well.

The first thing to consider when selecting perfume is that you must not get influenced by what perfume advertisements are telling you.  It’s a big mistake to buy perfumes without trying them out first.  Never trust a perfume’s description in a magazine or on TV.  You have to try out and smell the scents yourself, to make sure that you’re getting the right kind of perfume that suits you and your personality.  When testing new scents, think about how you would describe them.  If you try out a perfume and you think the words “sexy”, “fresh”, or “fun”, then these are the messages that you’d be sending to people as well.

Try to think about what kinds of scents or smells you really like or are attracted to.  Research can be a very valuable tool.  Lots of perfumes, especially those that are coming out nowadays, are based on the scent of vanilla.  Do you like the aroma of a cake being cake?  Or perhaps you prefer the scent of the ocean?  If so, oceanic fragrances will work well for you.  You may think that you wouldn’t want to smell like tea leaves or apples, but these preferences can be clues to what scent is right for you.  Another important thing: never assume that just because your friend’s perfume smells heavenly, it will also smell the same with you.

Consider also the season.  During the summer, fresh, fruity, and floral fragrances work best and are suited for the season.  Spicier and warmer cents are more appropriate for the colder months.  Some experts say this also goes for your location; if you’re living in tropical climates, for example, wearing fruity and fresh scents would generally be the best choice.

Age must also be a factor when choosing perfumes.  Not all perfumes are suited for all occasions and age groups.  An oriental perfume may come off as too sophisticated for a teenager, for example.  These fragrances can have strong scents, and are mostly suited for intimate, special occasions.  Green perfumes, on the other hand, are light, refreshing, and are more appropriate for teenage girls.

But how do you test perfumes?  Refuse those little cardboard pieces that some salespeople may offer you, and instead try it out on your skin.  Spray it on your wrist where the skin is warm, so that it will diffuse the scent quicker.  Don’t rub it into your skin.  But don’t sniff the perfume immediately after you spray it on, either.  Wait for several seconds or even for a minute.  Sniffing the perfume as soon as you put it on your skin will just overwhelm your senses with the alcohol.  You can try on two perfumes, though, but spray either one on each wrist.  And don’t try out more than two; your nose will get confused and you’ll go out of the store smelling like a perfume factory.

One more interesting thing you might want to remember.  Once you apply a scent, wait for about half an hour.  If you can’t smell anything by that time, but other people can, then that scent is meant for you!
